We aim to maintain our reputation as suppliers of high class and reliable geospatial information and professionalism in all aspects of our work. To this end, we have a continual program of improving our working systems, IT, equipment and most importantly staff training & CPD.

Our training and career development is varied, and may involve:
  • Structured training by software suppliers (n4ce, Cyclone, Pointools)
  • Specific instrumentation training (by Leica or Trimble)
  • In-house training programme in survey techniques
  • The Survey Association ‘Introduction to Surveying’ course
  • Mentoring with senior surveyors and directors
As part of our continued professional development, we have encouraged senior members of the team to attend conferences in San Francisco (HDS users conference), Texas (Spar View), Las Vegas (Trimble Dimensions), Germany (Intergeo), Stockholm (FIG) Newcastle (Remote Sensing Society) and Newbury (World of Geomatics)! Attendance at these events is essential to keep at the forefront of developments in surveying.

We also encourage personal development for members of the team by getting involved with schemes like ‘Young Enterprise’. This initiative involves our surveyors spending time in local schools helping children to learn about aspects of business, running a company and encouraging entrepreneurial activities.
