Robotic Total Stations

What is it ?

A total station is an optical instrument which combines an electronic theodolite with an electronic distance measuring device (EDM). Essentially it measures angles and distances, along with point attributes and feature codes to enable ‘intelligent’ survey points of detail to be recorded.
Trimble S6
We have standardised our fleet of instrumentation on the Trimble S6 total station and have just acquired the first Trimble S8 in the country.

Advantages:
  • Magdrive – fast and accurate, turning at 115 degrees/sec
  • Cable free – ease of use and Bluetooth communication
  • Increased productivity – when time on site is limited
  • Multitrack active targets – fast prism tracking, avoiding observation errors
  • One man robotic – work efficiently alone or make a two man team into twoMulti Track teams!
  • Direct Reflex – observe remote points with reflectorless measurement
The S6 gives us the speed, reliability and accuracy we need to meet our deadlines and deliver our projects on time and on budget.
