Road Junction Topographical Surveys

Severn Partnership has traditionally offered survey consultancy for major highways junction projects, with experience ranging from larger schemes such as Junctions 11 to 17 of the M6, down to smaller residential road surveys. We can offer flexible strategies, operating efficiently under road-traffic management or employing remote access survey techniques to ensure your geo-spatial problems are solved.

Our experienced Surveyors work closely with clients to ensure all individual requirements are met, with each highways junction project falling within the Department of Transport (DOT) highways specification. Carefully planned and rigorous control networks ensure that Junctions can be re-surveyed at a later date to deliver proving surveys or to capture any extensions to the surrounding infrastructure.

Deliverables include:
  • Topographical survey (3D DWG)
  • Registered scan cloud dataset
  • Hard copy colour plan at defined scale (1:50. 1:100, 1:200, 1:500, 1:1000, 1:1250)
  • Survey linked to O.S National Grid if required
  • Digital data as DXF or DWG file
  • MX Moss data GEN file
  • Witness diagrams and station descriptions
  • A well installed, secure network of survey control stations (for future work)
