Railway Surveying - Flexible Working

Once our proposed plan is in place and our quotation has been accepted, we know from previous experience that the only constant is change. Due to the nature of railway working, we have to be prepared for the unknown and flexible enough to change our costings and resource plans where necessary.

For example, in response to:
  • Last minute shift cancellations by Network Rail
  • Tampers disrupting worksites
  • Emergency engineering works
  • Changes in possession planning

We are able to avoid many of these problems by adopting a ‘heads up’ approach which means we can spot most problems before they happen and if not, we have a team in place capable of reacting to the changes quickly, safely and with the experience to still get the job done.

We can provide survey teams for weekend working anywhere in the country; with multiple teams if required to finish site work quickly, avoiding costly possession time.

Where remote survey methods can be utilised, we can complete our work without the need for track access or additional safety staff.

And we are available whenever you need us:

  • Daytime midweek Red Zone or Separated Green zone
  • Daytime possessions (Tii, Tiii)
  • Midweek night possessions
  • Weekend Saturday night or Sunday daytime
  • Monitoring repeat observations: hourly, daily, weekly, monthly……
  • 24 hour shift working if required.

Please call Nick Blenkarn or Mark Combes on 0844 880 8247 or e-mail webenquiry@severnpartnership.co.uk to discuss your project requirements.
