Rail Surveying Project Planning & Safety

Working in the railway environment requires the highest levels of safety awareness, preparation and planning documentation. At Severn Partnership, we have evolved our working practices in line with changing safety requirements and have developed strong links with a number of agencies providing track access planning and safety-critical staff.

We are able to create work package plans, RIMINI documents, task briefing sheets and all aspects of access to the rail environment. This knowledge also allows us to communicate effectively with our client’s planning teams to ensure shifts run as smoothly as possible.

We can also arrange for attendance at the weekly PICOP’s meeting and check that our planned work comes to fruition.

Severn Partnership has a good working relationship with agencies that supply rail safety-critical staff which means that access is available to considerable resources; at short notice if necessary.

When preparing a quotation, we use our extensive knowledge of the rail environment to advise you on the best, most efficient route to complete the survey. This may involve a number of different safety regimes such as daytime Redzone, midweek night possessions, weekend possessions, and the use of a variety of survey techniques to get the job done.

Please call Nick Blenkarn or Mark Combes on 0844 880 8247 or e-mail webenquiry@severnpartnership.co.uk to discuss your project requirements
