Railway Station Surveys
  
The presence of eth travelling public adds to the complexity of station surveys so we start by liaising with station staff to ensure our work progresses without delay and with minimum inconvenience to rail users. We can arrange access with station owners such as Virgin Trains, or work with individual duty station managers. We have all the relevant safety equipment needed to work on roofs, confined spaces or track as is necessary for site survey investigations.

We are able to use a whole range of survey experience and equipment in the station environment to produce the following deliverables:

  • Corus - Reading Station: building survey, elevations, track survey and platform survey
  • Telent – Thameslink DOO 3D platform surveys (200 platforms at 60 locations)
  • St Pancras Station and two miles of topographical survey
  • Kings Cross Station including the roof, Buildings and track
  • Paddington Station, LTVA project, and all track to Ladbroke grove
  • Birmingham New Street platforms, tracks and tunnels
  • 200 platform surveys in 2007 for security camera placement
  • Chiltern Line platform extension surveys
  • Stafford station tracks, platforms and buildings
  • Docklands Light Rail station surveys
