Looking through our point cloud gallery, you can see how there may not be the need to extract 2D or 3D data from the cloud – why not USE THE CLOUD ITSELF as the deliverable final dataset.

Our examples show how fine details and complex 3D interrelationships can be discerned from the data.

This may just be as a marketing exercise or for full design purposes.

Visualisations can be:
  • Shaded with a light source
  • Greyscale or multihued (coloured by signal intensity return)
  • True colour RGB mapped onto the points
  • Viewed as 2D point cloud orthometric jpeg images
  • Point cloud AVI animations
  • Coloured by intensity ramp to define deviation from a plane or surface
