Power Transmission and Distribution Site Surveys
  
In high voltage environments such as power distribution/transmission sites, safety and accuracy are of prime importance. We have used our experience in 3D laser scanning to provide surveying and 3D modelling solutions to the power industry. This technique allows us to remotely (without physical contact) survey high voltage equipment, creating 3D point loud datasets - from which we can extract:
  • 2D or 3D plans / topo surveys
  • 2D cross sections
  • 2D elevations
  • 3D models

This datacan be used to verify or update existing archive data sets. With a positional accuracy of better than 1cm, linked to existing coordinated control, our data is ideally suited to retrofitting or, reverse engineering projects.
